A series of new and existing art and cultural sites extends uphill from the Convention Centre, creating an Arts Corridor at the east end of the crescent. This corridor assumes a more informal character in response to the existing flow of curving roadways and scattered open space. The plan proposes:
a waterfront promenade which links the Convention Centre and new Queen's Pier with the new crescent park
a new maritime museum overlooking a quiet harbourside basin, serving as a gateway for the pedestrian bridges that cross the maze of roadways
two major museum/theatre sites overlooking the east end of the crescent, which solidify the area's emergence as a centre for the arts
relocated city hall, performance, and civic facilities.

The Arts Corridor responds to the sculptural infrastructure.
