At Swire Properties, we operate in a well-defined organisational structure that encourages teamwork. Our business units are briefly outlined as follows:

Senior Management: Our general managers and senior managers are responsible for managing our different business operations. They come from diverse backgrounds, bringing with them a wealth of experience from different professions.

Development & Valuations: With in-depth knowledge on town planning and land development matters, our Development & Valuations team is responsible for identifying attractive business and development opportunities including land acquisitions and redevelopment of sites, and to carry out the financial analysis of each project.

Projects: The Projects team is responsible for designing and managing the construction of new property projects in conjunction with our architects, suppliers and contractors.

Portfolio Management: In Hong Kong, we have extensive and diverse investment portfolio and the assets are leased and managed by our experienced portfolio teams providing high quality services to our tenants, added value creation for our investments and wide-ranging professional opportunities for the individuals concerned.

Marketing, Communications & eServices: Our Marketing, Communications & eServices specialists develop all marketing planning and promotions strategies, manage corporate press relations and handle public enquiries, as well as advises and implements rigorous technology systems support within the Company. The team is also responsible for overseeing our Company’s involvement in our year-round corporate community investment and charity initiatives.

Finance: Our Finance team comprises accountants and analyst professionals who oversee our budget, including the financing of our diverse property portfolios and the accounting reports of our Company.

Technical Services & Sustainability: The team is responsible to ensure new projects and operating buildings as well as general business processes are managed in a sustainable manner. It facilitates the development of our sustainable development strategy, supports the implementation of sustainable development policies and guidelines and reports on performance.

Human Resources & Administration: Our Human Resources & Administration team oversees the recruitment, training and development, and general welfare of all levels of employees. It regularly manages and reviews internal policies and guidelines to adhere to good personnel governance. The team also manages the administration of the office operations to ensure good working environment supported by necessities and equipments.

Hotels: The Swire Hotels team is responsible for the development, marketing and operations of our hotel business portfolio. The people are at the heart of the Swire Hotels brand and we set out to find, natural, engaging and intuitive people in order to create a style of service that is both highly professional yet relaxed.

China Investment Board: The China Investment Board is responsible for our Mainland China business. This includes the identification and implementation of new development opportunities and the management of our completed investment portfolio. We have representative offices in Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou and Shanghai to oversee business development.

Oriental Landscapes Limited: Our subsidiary specialises in horticulture, arboriculture and landscape maintenance. The team is staffed with professional gardeners as well as experienced and qualified horticultural and arboricultural specialists who provide thoughtful landscape management.
