Assistant Construction Manager (2-yr contract)

We are now looking for a talented Assistant Construction Manager to be part of our dynamic team.  The successful applicant will work in the project team undertaking large scale commercial development in Hong Kong.  The challenge is to ensure all phases of the projects are planned and completed on time, within budget and to the specified high standard of quality and safety. Specific responsibilities include monitoring the performance of contractors, overseeing the construction and handover procedures as well as liaison with other teams of the company such as management office and security team.


  • Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering / Building Studies / Building Engineering & Management or related discipline
  • MCIOB, MHKIE (Building / Structure), MHKICM or equivalent is advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a project coordination on large scale commercial or residential projects
  • Good understanding of the construction sequence and property development process in Hong Kong
  • Solid experience in site coordination, progress monitoring and liaison with subcontractor and consultant.  Work experience for main contractors is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Candidate with less experience would be considered as Project Coordinator
