OPUS HONG Kong

Take a closer look

As it rises from its lush hillside perch, OPUS HONG KONG turns, giving each apartment a unique floor plan and its own spectacular outlook. The building’s unique helical external structure also reduces the need for load-bearing walls, which allows the open-plan apartments to flow around a central core and the sinuous façade of the building to be composed almost entirely of glass. As a result, the interiors are light and airy with minimal interruptions to the view.

OPUS HONG Kong

Designer – Frank Gehry

Frank Gehry has created some of the world’s most influential and iconic buildings. When he completed the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain in 1997, the celebrated American architect Philip Johnson described it as “the greatest building of our time”. Since then, Gehry has continued to astound with extraordinary creations all around the world, including his audacious OPUS HONG KONG, of which he said, “I designed the building for Hong Kong…You wouldn’t build this anywhere else.”
