This Report aims to demonstrate our commitment and performance during the calendar year of 2007 in protecting the environment and ensuring occupational health and safety in our Hong Kong operations, as well as promoting a green and harmonious society in Hong Kong. Compared to previous annual EHS reports, this Report includes a 'Social Responsibility' section which offers more information on how we are directly serving the community through volunteer work, in addition to our day-to-day operations. A 'GRI Content Index' is also included to demonstrate our current performance with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative^* (GRI) G3 reporting framework. Overall, a number of enhancements have been made to this Report based on feedback received from our key stakeholders, which is an important part of our efforts to ensure greater transparency. With our aim to report in accordance with the GRI G3 Guidelines in the near future, this Report represents an important transition for Swire Properties.
