Swire Properties
Limited (Swire) has prepared a comprehensive plan in response to the
Hong Kong SAR Government’s Invitation for Proposals (IFP) in
respect of the West Kowloon Cultural District.
In full support of the Hong Kong SAR Government’s arts and cultural
objectives, Swire’s holistic vision offers a unified Cultural
Harbour embracing the future of Hong Kong as our home, the harbour
as its heart.
Solely focusing on West Kowloon alone restricts all new art and culture
to a single fringe cluster. Swire’s Masterplan incorporates
facilities in the cultural clusters of Tsim Sha Tsui and Central.
Far broader in scope than the IFP mandate, it aims to stimulate community
debate on how best to develop Hong Kong’s arts and culture infrastructure.
Swire has seized this opportunity to promote sustainable improvement
of the Harbour and harbourfront areas for present and future generations
to further Hong Kong’s World City ambitions. |
