Rejuvenating the Hong Kong Cultural Centre
at Tsim Sha Tsui into a Cultural Point, a new 2200-seat Theatre,
together with the retained theatres, Concert Hall and Arts Complex
will form a stunning, totally integrated, modern and transparent
jewel accessible from the surrounding urban landscape and Harbour.
The new open space stretches along the waterfront from Ocean Terminal
to the New World Centre, accentuated by an outdoor performance venue,
observation decks, restaurants and cafes.
To bring life and people back to the harbour itself, the Swire masterplan
includes a new ferry service that will link the three waterfronts
of West Kowloon, Tsim Sha Tsui and Central. |
