Trainees on board can benefit from thoughtfully planned job rotations and project assignments in and outside Hong Kong. They are encouraged to pursue studies for relevant professional qualifications and, throughout the duration of the programme, qualified mentors and supervisors provide on-the-job training, coaching and insights to promote the personal development of each trainee.
Trainees with outstanding performance are offered a promising career within our Company. They are expected to take on a variety of roles and to remain committed to life-long learning.
The programmes are modular in design. Each module is designed to enable trainees to obtain practical experience on the job. To ensure that the learning objectives are met, there will be on-going assessment and an opportunity for trainees to present their insights to senior management. Continuous professional development (CPD) training will be recommended by the mentors or supervisors. Besides CPD training, the Company also provides training in customer service, business etiquette, interpersonal skills etc.
Recruitment of graduate trainees usually starts from September/October. For the Swire Hotels’ International Management Trainee Programme, recruitment is usually held in February/March.
