Approximately 1.3 million sq ft (over 120,000 sqm) of retail space
Accessible by bus and lines 10 and 2 of the Beijing Subway
Taikoo Li Sanlitun South and Taikoo Li Sanlitun North
Over 240 shops and restaurants
Under the direction of The Oval Partnership and based on the design of renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, a campus of 19 low-density buildings – split into southern and northern zones – was constructed in contemporary architectural styles. The bold use of color and irregular three-dimensional modeling creates unique angles at every turn.
The buildings of Taikoo Li Sanlitun South are dynamic and stylish, with bright colors that pop. The sprawling layout, like Beijing’s traditional hutong lanes, was constructed to facilitate multiple paths, with criss-crossing spaces that invite leisurely wandering. The architecture of Taikoo Li Sanlitun North, on the other hand, reflects understated luxury. The simplicity of the building design is complementary to the elegance of international brands; the open courtyard layout, inspired by Beijing's classic siheyuan dwellings, displays the spacious and inclusive temperament of a true metropolis.
