Energy Policy

1. As a developer, owner and operator of mixed-use properties, Swire Properties Limited (the “Company”) is committed to improving energy efficiency.
2. It is the policy of the Company to:
  (a) integrate energy efficiency considerations into the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of all facilities and services;
  (b) develop and implement technology, processes and systems that can improve and benefit the Company’s performance;
  (c) ensure the availability of information and resources for setting, monitoring and regularly reviewing energy objectives and targets;
  (d) comply with legal requirements and integrate industry best practices into operations and services;
  (e) take into account energy efficiency and other environmental impacts in the Company’s procurement policy;
  (f) communicate energy targets and performance to employees, customers and other stakeholders;
  (g) educate and train employees on their energy awareness at the workplace and home; and
  (h) inform tenants on improving their energy efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint of the Company’s buildings.
3. The Company will review this Energy Policy from time to time as appropriate, and in any event, once every three years.
