We believe that long-term value creation depends on the sustainable development of our business and the communities in which we operate.

Our commitment to sustainable development incorporates social, economic and environmental risks and benefits into our business decision-making. We take these factors into account during the inception, design, construction, occupation and demolition phases of our development projects.

Our commitment is underpinned by the Swire Pacific Sustainable Development Policy, which we adopted in 2008, and supported by our Environmental Policy, Health and Safety Policy, Energy Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct.

We have established the Sustainable Development Steering Committee (SDSC) for reviewing and overseeing the implementation of our SD 2030 Strategy. The Terms of Reference for the SDSC can be found here.
